Privacy Policy

What we collect

SwapDex is a static site and collects very little:

• No accounts, no tracking cookies, no ad networks. Browsing the directory requires no login and sets no tracking identifiers.
• Outbound click logs. When you use a /go/ link we record the tool clicked, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string, so we can report clicks honestly to vendors. Logs are throttled per IP but IP addresses are not stored in the click log.
• Tool submissions. If you submit a tool we store what you typed (tool name, website, notes) to review the listing.
• Sponsorships. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. We store what's needed to serve your placement: the tool name and URL you provide, your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, and the billing email — used only to manage your placement and contact you about it.

Infrastructure

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses transiently as part of operating its network (DDoS protection, caching). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

Retention & requests

Sponsor records are kept while the subscription is active and for bookkeeping afterward. Click logs and submissions are kept only as long as they are operationally useful. To access or delete data about you, email [email protected] and we will handle it promptly.
